Step 1: First download the app from either the iOS App Store or Google Play Store, if it is currently available in your country.
Step 2: In order to use Threads, you’ll need to sign up for an Instagram account first. If you are already logged into the Instagram app, you will receive a prompt giving you the option to log in using your existing account. Alternatively, you can choose to switch to a different account if desired.
Step 3: Next, you'll be prompted to create your bio. You have the option to write your own bio or simply click the "Import from Instagram" button, which will automatically import your bio from your Instagram account.
Step 4: You have the option to decide whether you want your Threads profile to be publicly visible or kept private. If you want to change your Threads profile privacy, you can change it later by clicking on settings.
Step 5: Furthermore, you have the choice to opt for following the same accounts on Threads that you currently follow on Instagram.
Step 6: Lastly, simply follow the remaining instructions, and there you have it — you are now officially a part of Threads.
